Tested cooling fan motors they work, tested relays and fuses they work, changed the coolant temperature sensor and engine thermostat, flushed radiator and filled with new coolant. They do not come on with AC, have not yet tried disconnecting coolant temperature sensor, starting to run out of options might have to take it to a shop because I feel like I am chasing a gremlin.

Good morning

remove the connector from the coolant temp sensor for the computer with the engine running. The fans should both come on.

Let me know the results

Checks the complete circuit for the fans.

This indicates either a bad coolant sensor, bad connector or a thermostat issue such as stuck open.

Shop around. That is too much for a connector.

Turns out the gm 3800 engines just run hot commonly hangs out around the halfway mark, the reason the coolant tempature sensor light came on was due to the coolant level sensor reading improper so says Mr. Mechanic dissent exactly make sense to me but cars working good, hope my experience helps somebody, and Thank you everybody for your helpful input
