Cooling fan stays running after the car has been turned off?

I’ve noticed and forgot to mention that my cooling fan has been running after the car is shut off. Even when I just start it and let it run for just a few seconds. It has never done that before. I started having problems with the car, I don’t know if that would shed any light on when trying to diagnose my car problems.

This sounds like a bad engine coolant temperature sensor, here is the location of the sensor so you can change it out to see what happens. Here is a generic guide to help you step by step with instructions in the diagrams below to show you how on your car:
