Hello,

I have searched for hours trying to find the answer as to where the location is of the coolant temp sensor. I have seen videos but none for the car listed above. I can’t seem to find any good or accurate answer as to where it’s located.

Hello! Here are a couple of screenshots to help. This engine uses a Cylinder Head Temperature sensor instead of an Engine Coolant Temperature sensor. The PCM uses CHT to determine engine temperature instead of the ECT for this vehicle. It is near the thermostat. The picture of the exploded view of the thermostat shows where that is. That is the flex plate so it would be on transmission side of the engine. The second picture shows the location of the CHT sensor, you can see the thermostat in the picture to the left of the sensor. Hope that helps.

Great answer LUCASNIC! You might need to move the hoses and wiring harness to see it. It should be just to the right of the thermostat housing.
