Where is the Coolant Temperature Sensor located?

I need help finding the location or a diagram of the location for the coolant temperature sensor so that I can change it out. (Not the EB engine), just a regular trucck listed above (non turbo). Please help!

Hi,

There is an engine coolant temperature sensor and a cylinder head temperature sensor. The ECT is at the rear of the engine and the CHT sensor is mounted on the cylinder head and under the intake manifold. See pic 1.

Pic 2 shows locations for both. However, most of these only have a CHT sensor. Pic 3 gives you a better view of the CHT location. Check the area indicated in pic 2 for the coolant temperature sensor.
