Coolant sensor

I changed my coolant temperature sensor. In the process of connecting the connector the wires pulled out. Please how would I know which wires goes to the pins? Or can I just connect the wires to any pin on the two pin sensor?

Look at connector and it will have numbers corresponding with picture just put the wires that match with the numbers on connector.
