Coolant loss

After the car warms up there is steam coming from the hose just above the thermostat and a little bit of coolant is left standing on engine. My reservoir tank completely empties out. This happens everytime I refill it.

So clearly we have a leak so we need to start with pressure testing the system to find out where the leak is coming from.

So let's top off the coolant and then heat the engine up and see if you can see the leak. If you cannot then let it cool down and pressure test the system. Don't try to open the cooling system when it is still hot as it will spray coolant all over and it can burn you.
