Truck has message on dash that says "coolant level low" coolant level is fine, however, I can't find the coolant level sensor on this truck. I know they used to be located in the overflow reservoir but that is not the case for this year. What can I do to troubleshoot or fix this problem, and where is the sensor located?

Hello,

The coolant level sensor is in the coolant reservoir. In the diagrams down below I have included the instructions for the removal and installation of the coolant reservoir and you can see that they specifically say to disconnect the electrical connector. The electrical connector goes to the coolant level sensor. Check the wiring diagrams below showing the location of the sensor. I hope that this helps. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what happens.

The 1500 model does not have the sensor in the tank, the wiring shown is for the 2500?
