There are a number of things that can cause this, but can we confirm what it is doing with getting a video? Basically, we need to know if it is getting to the full closed position and if the latches are just not pulling it shut. Or if it is getting mostly closed and just not triggering the latches.

Also, we are going to have to check the voltage getting to the latches to find out if they are being commanded to lock or if we have a possible latch issue.

I am attaching the info below, but I am putting the motor connector as I would like to see also if when the top stops if the voltage on the extend driver stops. Meaning we could also have a motor issue.

However, seeing the video of this operation may cause us to take a different direction so let's start with this.

Thanks

This morning the top went through the cycle completely worked perfectly the second time. The problem occurred where is the sensor that recognizes the trunk lead in the down position to activate the locks therefore rolling up the windows. Also, all the information says the hydraulic pump is behind the rear seat fault is located in the trunk. I Frank I did add 2 oz of oil to the reservoir it looked a little low.

If the system were low on fluid that would cause an issue but that begs the question of where the fluid went.

Check the lines and pump for a leak. It is most likely a small one if there is.

I attached the info below that shows the deck lid position sensor and the motor.
