Jumper cables was connect backwards, did not realize until horn was sounding. Car was jumped properly afterwards, started up. Now, none of the windows don't work, wont change gears, no power steering and vehicle seems to smoke.

We need to start with checking for codes as I am sure there will be some that point us in the right direction.

Also, when you say it seems to smoke, where is this smoke coming from? That is normally a wire that is melting or a module that has failed. That clearly is a sign that we need to track down as it will help us figure out the cause.

Here is a video that will help with jump starting a car. Clearly this is not directly for you but others that may visit this page.

Let me know what you find with this and we can go from there. Thanks
