Hello,

There is no special procedure that is required for this vehicle to change the A/C compressor.

Take a look at this article, it covers all the best practices when replacing the A/C compressor. It might help determine if something was missed.

I have attached the replacement procedure below.
Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.

Hi,

What is stuck? Do you mean the compressor clutch, the pulley won't turn, or are you getting the compressor stuck when installing it? Let me know.

I attached the directions for removal and replacement from my manual. Take a look through them to see if something is missed. See pics below

Also, here is a link you may find helpful:

Let me know.

Take care,

Joe

So, I took out all bolts (4 long bolts) and still can't come off feels like its somehow connected somewhere in the back area of compressor. I even pulled out the alternator but still won't come off. Any help will be gratefully appreciated.

Hi,

The manual shows three long bolts and a nut. Has the nut been removed? (See pic 1)

Is it possible for you to take a couple of pics of what you are dealing with and upload them for me? Hopefully, I will see where the problem is. Also, have you disconnected everything mentioned in the aforementioned directions?

Also, did you remove the oil filter bracket? If you only removed the bolt from the compressor, the bracket will still be tight and prevent the compressor from moving. See pic 2. Note: You should be able to just loosen that bolt and move the bracket out of the way.

Let me know.

Joe
