My car is giving me a code of p0306 a misfire in cylinder 6. I changed coil packs and plugs, I have also changed my camshaft position sensors and I was still getting the same code p0306. So I just finished doing a compression test on cylinder 6 and had 0 psi in that cylinder so I also did a compression test in cylinder 4 and had 150 psi so what do I do now?

Hello,

Well that's not good at all. Next you have to determine where the compression in cylinder 6 is going. There are a few possibilities here. In no particular order the causes are a blown head gasket, worn compression piston ring, damaged piston, cracked engine block, cracked cylinder head, burnt valve, or a damaged valve that isn't seating correctly, worn valve guide, or a damaged/broken valve spring. How did this all come about? Please be as specific as you can, and we can go from there.

Thanks,
Alex
