The only code that shows when you turn the key from off to run three times fast is P0513. I cannot find the meaning of this code.

Good afternoon.

Did you replace the PCM? This code is about the VIN number not matching the PCM.

Reset the computer? How did you do that? Did you have it flashed?

To reset the computer to factory setting's you just have to disconnect the battery cables and reconnect them.

Okay, all that does is make the PCM forget the code. That does not reset to factory settings. Those settings are always there.

I am concerned this will happen again as nothing has been done to resolve this issue. This issue will return at some point.

How long have you driven it since you removed the cable?

Well, after disconnecting the battery cables and reconnecting them the car started right away. We have used the car every day since then and it always starts and runs great. When we used the non coded key every time we started the car a new problem would show up. First it stared by loosing the low idle, then after about five or six starts we lost all fuel delivery after that we lost the starting system. We have been using the factory key every since and it starts every time with no more symptoms showing up as of yet. It may be to soon to know if by using the non coded key in the ignition, had created the problem on its own or if there is a bigger problem that will return at a later date. With no symptoms at this time and every thing working as it should we will watch and wait.

Good. I would hope you have resolved it but my gut tells me it will come back at some point.

Keep us updated and let us know if you have any follow up questions.
