Hello, I have the vehicle listed above SLT model. I noticed the oil filter was leaking and then a day or so later check engine light came on with a message about reduced engine power and then codes p06de and code p0521. I did a full oil change on it and the check engine light and code are still there. Anything I can do other than taking it to a garage?

You need to clear the codes before they will go away, if you have not already done so. It sounds like the oil is clean and full which is good, if the code repeats, I would change out the engine oil pressure sensor which I have included the location and instructions for in the images below, it looks like the sensor is above the starter, so I have included those instructions as well, start by disconnecting the battery.

P06DE - Engine Oil Pressure Control Circuit Stuck On: This code indicates that the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) has detected a problem with the engine oil pressure control circuit.

P0521 - Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch Range/Performance: This code suggests a discrepancy in the performance or reading of the engine oil pressure sensor or switch.

You can do a manual check of the oil pressure as well by following this guide:

Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.
