Clutch pedal goes to the floor?

My clutch pedal is going all the way to the floor, and I have to fill fluids up at least three times a day, especially in the morning. My questions are... 1. Do I have to drop the transmission to replace the slave cylinder? 2. Do I need to replace any other parts because the slave cylinder has gone out?

Hi,

I'm basing this on a 2wd vehicle with a 2.8L engine.

Yes, the transmission needs to be removed to access the slave. If I have the correct info above, I attached the directions below for replacing it. Take a look through them and let me know if you have questions or if I can help in any way.

Also, you are able to just replace the slave cylinder. However, if the clutch is old or you are having trouble with it, this would be the time to replace it.

Take care,

Joe
