Hello,

If your Catalytic converter is rattling and you want to take it off, simply cut it off with a saws all and you can get a sleeve to slip on in place of the cat with woven steel braid on Amazon or Ebay for a reasonable price. Clamp it in place with muffler clamps, again inexpensive on Amazon or Ebay. Just make sure you get the same diameter as the exhaust on your vehicle. Clunking when turning is usually a sign of a bad CV joint. Here is are a couple of guides explaining what's going on and how to replace it below:

Please go through these guides and get back to us with what you are able to find out, and/or how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex
