Hi. I am having trouble with the automatic A/C system. When I press the system "auto" button the fan blows for a split-second and stops. This happens for both heat and cooling. A few weeks ago I could turn the system off and on several times and the blower would sometimes work. Now I get nothing. Can you diagnose? Thanks! PS.I ran the A/C self-test and got an error code #21. Also, during the test the blower operated fine.

Code 21 is the solar sensor circuit, so make sure nothing is covering it although it really need a scanner to test the voltage. Picture shows how to test it with an ohm meter. However, if it is good then it is a short in wiring or control head which a mechanic should put his scanner on it to verify what is wrong.
