Climate control only blows cold air?

Currently dealing with an issue of no heat in cabin. It doesn’t appear to be low on coolant, the in/out lines from the engine compartment both seem hot enough so I don’t think it’s the valve there, the fan blows fine on all settings but only blows cold air. However there is a terrible whine from under the dash and when you turn the climate control off you hear a loud click noise. I suspend it is either the mode or blend door actuator failed. I cannot figure out where the actuator is actually located. The car does not have a dual climate control system so it should only have one right? Is it passenger or drivers side?

Yep, it sounds like you got the problem, the temperature blend door actuator is no good and needs replacement. Here is the location so you can swap it out, this guide will help you reset the system once the replacement is completed. I assume the climate control is not dual temperature correct? If so the actuator is above the accelerator pedal.

Remove the driver knee airbag, disconnect the battery first for 5 minuets and keep it disconnected until completed. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens. Ken
