Climate Control?

I have added a wiring diagram for you as well as an exploded view of the mode door actuator location. My information is telling me that it is located on the upper left side of the HVAC unit.

I also included torque specs, installation and removal instructions for instrument cluster, steering column and shroud and trim. Service manual suggests removing the entire steering wheel and column, but you may be able to just remove the shrouds and lower the steering wheel and column as an assembly while working.
