When I turn a corner and then go back to being straight my car clicks and you can feel it under foot.

Hey ISABELLAFORREST,

Just to confirm you have noise whilst turning or when changing direction?

Does this noise also happen over bumps driving straight?

If you hold it on full lock (all the way right/left) and drive does it make the sound in both directions. If you find a parking lot and drive in circles you should be able to narrow this down. If the noise only happens whilst turning and gets worse the harder you turn you may have a CV axle issue.

Let me know how you go.

Regards, Joe

Hey ISABELLAFORREST,

Has the vehicle had any recent work done?

A good quick check to rule it out is to check the wheel nuts/bolts are tight.

Most shops will re-torque your wheels for free if you ask them nicely.

Does the click happen multiple times as you come back to straight?
Does it sound like a rotational noise like something is contacting the wheel, stone stuck in the tire etc?
Does it happen turning both directions?

Can you describe the noise a little better for me, the more information you can give the better we can narrow it down.

Regards, Joe
