Noises problem
2005 Chrysler Town and Country 6 cyl Automatic 58,000 miles

My van was recently repaired after an accident. They did work on the AC condenser (ALTERNATE RE CONDENSER, A/C =01, 46 ) and radiator ( ALTERNATE RE RADIATOR = 01, 46) plus AC EVAC RECHRG & RCVR. I drive it a couple of days and then the hissing sounds start. It happens when the AC is on and doesnt matter if I just started driving it or has been for a while. The sound has become less frequent but it does happen. When I took it back to the shop of course is doesnt make that sound. The AC still works but Im wondering why does it make that sound now and never before? When I parallel parking my van it also makes this "donk" sound? Usually when Im turning or moving towards the right. The sound is not loud but I think its the steering.

First, I would recommend having the steering components and ball joints checked. As far as the hissing sound, can you tell aprox where it is coming from?

Thank you for your advice, it will help me when I take it in to be checked. As far as the hissing sound goes it sounds like its coming from the middle vent of the air condition. I had a mechanic look over it and he checked the lines and there was no leakage of any kind. It only happens when the air is on. The sound is less frequent since it was repaired. Is the other problem a major fix?

As far as the other problem, I can't tell how much is involved before we have confirmed what the exact problem is. If you would like, when they tell you, let me know. I will be able to give you flat rate (how long it should take) and part costs.

Let me know.
