2002 Chrysler Town and Country part is supposedly leaking

Our new mechanic shop is telling us that the:
Transpak solenoid is leaking.
what exactly is this part?
Close to $400.00 to R&R.

The TCM (Trans control module) is basically the transmission's brain. IT is common for them to leak. It's located on the front of the trans right above the pan. As a result, most people thing the pan is leaking because it runs down onto it. When they leak, they are non repairable. The price they quoted doesn't sound too high. I believe the part is around 200.00.
