2002 Town & Country

Engine was replaced approximately 2 months ago

last month we took it on vacation and put approximately 3600 miles on it

While driving the car the RPM will go from 3 to zero and then after a few seconds back to 3

Occasionally dies when it happens but not always. Happens when I'm driving not when I'm stopped

problem started after stopping and getting gas

we live in a humid climate and it has been rainy the last few days

any ideas?

Get the codes
try and add some fuel cleaner to the tank

Check engine light is on but the code is for an evap leak that we were already aware of however, the mechanic at the dealership is telling us that this would not cause the problem.

Put stabalizer in the tank this morning. How long does it take the stabilizer to work?
