Hopefully the cylinder is just dry not broken. You can pick up a special lube for the lock cylinder by checking around. May be at a locksmith shop, possibly parts store. Though it will be difficult to spray inside with key in the way, just keep a towel under it, give it a little time to work.

We have freed up many keys using this method.
