I recently needed to jump start my T&C van -- took the battery out first, charged it up some, reinstalled battery, still didn't start, then jumped it and started fine. Since then, however, the AM/FM/CD player is inoperable, except that the amber lights on the three treble/bass/balance sliding bars flash in unison when the engine is on -- bright, dim, off, repeat. Everything else in the AM/FM/CD unit is out. All other electrical functionality seems to be fine. Any ideas? Is this something I can reprogram myself, or do I need to take it in for repairs? Thanks!

Hi:

It sounds like the radio may have been damaged from a power surge. I would take it to stereo shop and have them look at it. In most cases, the cost of repairs for a factory is much higher than having the stereo replaced with an aftermarket system.

If you have any other questions, let me know.

Joe
