Our 2001 Chrysler Town & Country is falling apart. We have put about $4500 in the vehicle (rebuilding the transmission, replacing the a/c condensor, new tires, and some small misc. Things) in tha past 12 months. We were on an out of town trip and the va started giving us problems, to the point of not being able to drive it. We had it towed to a dealer and they said to fix it would cost another $800-900. We really don't want to put any more money into the vehicle and it is undrivable. We have one payment of $300 left on it. It is at the dealers 3 1/2 hours away. What are our options, aside from getting it fixed? We aren't going to purchase a new vehicle from that dealer, so a trade-in isn't an option.

I'm not sure what you are asking. What is wrong with the van? You could try to sell it as is, but of course, you won't get too much for it. If it is fixed, it is worth more. Check the blue book value of it and decide if it is worth fixing or not. Go to KBB. Com to get private seller values and trade in values. Remember, if it doesn't run, there will be a large reduction in value.
