Have been having a problem with the door locks, they keep locking after the van is shut off the the key is out of the ignition, if I don't lock it after leaving it, the van will lock it self and then every 30 seconds lock over and over, this also happen when I do lock the van, this goes on and on. Have taken key fob apart and replaced batteries, have taken fuses out and replaced them, have tried taking the battery out so the brain would have to reboot. Even tried it on the problem anylizer but that only works when the van is on, this problem only happens when the van is off.? Help

Hello and thanks for donating

It seems as though you may have a door ajar sensor sending a false signal which is telling the vehicle to lock the doors. The reason is probably that the door latch striker plate is out of adjustment. It is probably the driver door, but all you need to do is lock all the doors from the inside, then push against each one from the inside the car and find the one that causes the interior lights to come on. Then open that door and move the striker plate on the door frame inboard a bit until it won't cause the lights to come on. The same sensor tells the automatic door locks to open and close when the car is in motion, so that problem should be solved. If moving the door plate doesn't solve it, then the ajar switch may need replaced.
