Hi there,
My T n Country has this random intermitent start n stall. I will turn the key over and the van starts right up for about 2 seconds then stalls. After a few trys it wont even turn over. Leave it sit for a day or several hours then it will start up and run fine. Also my dash gauges will flat line while driving, go a few miles and they start working again. Had it to the dealership and they find nothing wrong, not one code found. It works fine for them. When running it runs great. Any ideas?
thanks, cvrock

If you look on this site there is around 20 others that have the exact same problem, A few people have replaced the instrument cluster and they say that worked for them, but I brought mine into the dealership and it finally wouldn't start for them, they got error code that the SKIM wasn't working, (security key imobilize modual) but the part alone was over 1600.00 plus the labour! The dealership didn't think that random starting failures and the gauges flat lining were connected, but yet everyone has the EXACT problem! I decided that it wasn't worth fixing for that price so it is sitting in my drive way! Bought new car. Hoped this helped? I know how frustrating it is!
