1998 Chrysler Town and Country Oil light keeps coming on.

Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Chrysler Town and Country 6 cyl Automatic 93,000 miles

After driving on the highway one day my oil light came on. I checked the oil it was at the minimum line so I added to quarts. The car was fine until I drove to work the next day. When I got off the highway the light came back on. I took the car for an oil change the same day and the mechanic said everything looks fine. However the next day after driving to work again on the highway the light came right back on. What is the problem?

Hi:
I just delt with the same problem a week ago. Check the oil sending unit and see if it's leaking at all. If so, replace the sending unit. I believe it's located just above the oil filter. Regardless, you can pay to have the oil pressure tested (and pay that bill) or you could just replace the sending unit regardless if it's leaking. It should cost less that 15.00 dollars and they are easy to replace.
