When I slow down I hear a "clunking" noise. If I hold any speed constant, no noise. If I apply the brakes hard, no noise. BUT if I let off the gas, noise. If I hold the wheel straight, noise. If I turn the wheel no noise. What is problem?

M J Ritzel,
How hard is to change U-joint(s?) On Chrysler Town and Country? I have changed one before on a Jeep Cherokee with rear wheel drive.

With the rear wheel drive jeep the universals are on the drive shaft. The front universals are on the front drive shaft. Most auto supply stores carry rebuilt shafts. They are easier to replace than just the universals. It is more involved than just universals on the jeep. If unsure check with a local garage you trust and see what they charge to change them. They can also check to make sure it is the universals and check out the fornt drive line.
