Is the tensioner bad or the bearing in the pulley. Most times it is just the bwearings that go bad in the belt tensioner pulley. You will have to remove the belt, then using a socket and wrench loosen up the pully itself. It is like changing any other pulley. After replacing it turn it just to make sure it on straight. Then replce the belt.
