The resister block for the blower motor keeps blowing and only high speed is available. Works for anywwhere from 3 days to 2 months when I replace it. Any ideas what might cause it?

The resister block for the blower motor keeps blowing and only high speed is available. Works for anywwhere from 3 days to 2 months when I replace it. Any ideas what might cause it?
