Insufficient coolant quantity in cooling system
Insufficient coolant quality in cooling system
Leaking cooling system
Faulty (stuck closed) thermostat
Faulty radiator cap
Faulty water pump
Kinked radiator hose
Faulty or insufficient cooling from radiator fans
Faulty cooling fan switch
Faulty engine coolant temp sensor
Head gasket leak
Sludge in cooling system causing blocked coolant flow
