thermostat located and how to remove and install it?

Where is the thermostat located and how to remove and install it. What is the unit called that the upper Radiator Hose attaches too, There was coolant leaking from that area.

Hello,

The upper radiator hose is connected to the engine with the thermostat housing.
When you remove that you will be able to access the thermostat.
Usually the gasket around that will leak overtime.

Remember to only work on the vehicle when the engine is cold.
