2005 Chrysler Sebring Engine light is on

My engine light flickered but is now on. My car seems to want to stall while idling and it pauses then excellerates when pulling away. I'm 2 1/2 hour from the dealership or reliable garage. Any ideas before I head out on a long trip to the dealership. There is not a lot between the dealership and this town.I would hate to break down. I really love this car. This is the first trouble I have ever had with it.

Honestly, not knowing what is wrong, we cannot offer any educated guess. You have to get the computer scanned and then we can help diagnose. Some Autozones still offer this service in some areas. Check around.
