2004 Chrysler Sebring 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I am new to your site and needing to change the thermostat on a friends vehicle and needing to confirm thermostat location is under the upper rad. hose. the parts store says the thermo gasket is $9.00 at carquest. please advise a.sa.p. Jim

if on the 2.7L engine then you will need to remove the alternator to gain access to the thermostat.
