2003 Chrysler Sebring ENGINE LIGHTING

I started off to work this morning and the red engine light came on. I stopped at gas station and checked oil and it was fine. I filled radiator tank with water and the indicator dash engine symbol still came on. I am scheduled for LOF tomorrow. What could be problem and is car safe to drive?

You need to go to an auto parts store (Autozone, Checkers, Kragen, whatever you have in your area) and have your computer scanned. Then tell us what code(s) you have.

For the moment, you can drive the car.

Thanks, my wife is taking the car to dealershio for LOF. I disconnected the negative battery cable from battery and the light went away.
