2002 Chrysler Sebring 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 140670 miles
hi, I have a 2002 sebring and it does not start I jumpt started it once and it wouldent start back up after the lights were left on a couple of times but it always started after a jump could it be that the battery cells were damge or the battery is to old?
I'll need a little more information to correctly answer your question.
1. When you turn the key (during a jump start), does the engine turn over but won't start, or does it not turn at all?
2. If it does not turn at all, is there power to the rest of the car, and does that power stay strong after trying to start it?
The reason I need to know these things is because you battery could be fine but your starter shot. Also, make sure the jumper cables are hooked up right with good contact. Because if you hook them up wrong, even once, you could fry your computer.

For question 1 yes it wont crank over at all, when I connect the jumper cables.
