2001 Chrysler Sebring Engine light on

I had a diagnostic done on my car and they tell me the code says it is an evaporator leak. What does thi mean and why is it connected to the engine light?

Instead of description, give us the code number for proper diagnostic. As the Powertrain Control Module is extensively utilized for vehicle operation, the minute a unit is operating outside the boundary of the normal operating condition will "flag" the check engine light.
