Electrical problem
2000 Chrysler Sebring 6 cyl Automatic 133000 miles

I bought my car four months ago and the car was working perfectly fine. About a month and a half ago, the cars gas pedal would go to the floor when I pressed on it but it wouldnt accelerate in speed. Then I tried to brake and the brake got hard, so I tried to turn the stering wheel and that also got hard, so I had to force it to the side of the road. I turned the car off and she would turn on but wouldnt turn over. Then my brother went and started the car in the morning and she turned on fine with no problem. Then two weeks later I went my radio shut off, then after like two minutes would come back on then shut right back off and would do this the whole time im in the car. Now the problem that im having is that the car mirror lights are going off then come back on. Then I press the power on the radio like three times and the two front windows roll down. The other night I was driving I stopped and put the car in park and sat for like four minutes and the cruise light popped on then the car just shut off and wouldnt start for the rest of the night. So my borther went to pick her up in the morning and she started right back up. So when he pulled up I went and started it again and she started so I turned my car off and hit the lock button and it wouldnt lock the doors. I just dont understand what the problem is? If you could please help? Thanks.

First of all, is your "Check Engine" light illuminated? What about any other dash lights? Either way, you really need to have your computer scanned as a first step. (AutoZone will do this for free) This will give you a sense of direction.

If your computer is storing any codes, write back and give me the specific codes and I'll try to help you.

As for your electrical issues, I'd have to say your Body Control Module (B.C.M.) Is going bad. But when you say the gas pedal went to the floor with no power increase, that is a totally separate system.

Any power train issues would be controlled by the "Power train Control Module" (P.C.M.). However, if your steering wheel and brake pedal got hard, then your engine would've had to be dieing at the time. Because they aren't controlled by electricity. (The ABS is electronic, but it wouldn't give you a hard brake pedal)

With the amount of problems you are describing, I'd have to write a book to help you diagnose so many systems.
