WHAT MAKES A CAR MISFIRE. IT WAS CUTTING OUT AND MY HUSBAND REPLACED A CENSOR (LIKE YOU ALL SAID WAS PROBABLY THE PROBLEM), BUT NOW THE ENGINE IS CUTTING OUT SO BADLY THAT IT WILL HARDLY RUN.

Hi kisner, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation. Do you have a check engine light and when was the last tune-up? Your possiblities could be one of the following

1. Defective spark plug.
2. Inadequate spark/coil, defective spark plug wire.
3. Lack of compression
4. False air leakage.
5. Faulty fuel injectors.
6. Insufficient fuel pressure.
7. Contaminated fuel.
8. EGR valve that is leaking.
9. Oxygen sensors.
10. IACV
