Hi There,

I bought a chrysler sebring 2000 8 months ago I realized that I have problems with my car because I got stuck many times with my car on the road when the cruise control and the brake lights are on. I could not them off and I could not run the car neither. This case is rare because when I wait a regular time, my car can start working and run without any problems. The major of the time happen when it is raining. Please, somebody can tell me what I should do.I am a woman and I really do not know about it.

I would very much like to help you with your car problem. But I'll need you to clear a few things up for me.

When you say you got "Stuck on the road many times with the cruise control and brake lights on", do you mean the car actually cut off on you?

Also, when you say "It happens the majority of the time when it's raining", what actually happens?

Also, this forum is mainly for people who like to work on their own cars. (To save a few bucks) But we can also help you diagnose a problem, so that when you do take your car to a shop, you'll at least have an idea of what needs to be done, giving you some ammunition in case you run into a dishonest mechanic.

Now having said that, you really should take your car to a shop. If you have the money, take it to a major chain, such as Car-X, or Tires Plus. These type of shops usually keep things honest because they depend on their reputations.

You don't want to continue driving your vehicle and risk getting stuck in the middle of nowhere in the middle of winter!
