Interior problem
1996 Chrysler Sebring V8 Automatic 133000 miles

FOR THE LAST YEAR, WHEN IT RAINS HARD, RAIN COMES INTO THE CAR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. NOT ONLY DOES IT COME IN - IT DOES NOT DRAIN OUT. I CAN HEAR IT SWISHING AROUND IN THE REAR WHEEL WELL AND I'VE BEEN TOLD SOMETHING IS PLUGGED UP - EVENTUALLY THE WATER COMES UP AND SOAKS THE FLOOR ON THAT SIDE AND EVENTUALLY DRIES UP.

I'M READY TO RETIRE AND CAN'T AFFORD AN EXPENSIVE BODY SHOP JOB. ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR THIS POOR REDHEAD?

I Drilled a drain hole IN the rear wheel wellS
, BOTH front and the back sides of the well.
THIS WORKED FOR MY 98 SEBRING CONV.

1 Jack back of car up. (One side at a time)
2 Remove the wheel, (us a jack stand).
3 DRILL SLOWLY. Drill hole in the lower most
part (inside the well)
>>> (USE A CORDLESS DRILL !)<<<
. Water will come out,
WATER AND ELECTRICITY ARE
SHOCKING.

YOU SHOULD CHECK THE HOLES FOR ROAD TAR/RUST EVERY 2 MONTHS. FOR CLOGING. A COAT HANGER WIRE WORKS FINE.
