My 96 Chrysler Sebring Convertible A/C system works fine at idle and speeds below 35 MPH. The A/C will stop working above 35 MPH for a while (up to 5 or 6 minutes) and then will start working again for a few minutes and then off again. While it is working, the duct air is nice and cold (45 degrees). I have evacuated the systems and re-filled it with the proper charge and still does the same thing. There are no leaks in the system.

Check for the right head pressures with a manifold gauge set, here's the chart.
