Do you know of a reputable car parts place on line that you can order parts from? One that you all would trust? I need a Egr Valve - - 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser.

Where are you located? Do you need the entire valve or just the sensor on top of it. The sensor on top is not available separately but is what usually fails. Depending where you are, I might be able to recommend some good salvage yards so you don't have to buy the whole valve.

You should be able to find the valve at Carquest or NAPA, or the dealer as a last resort. Also, check out some of the advertisers on this web site. If none of those pan out, you WILL find the valve at rockauto. Com.

I appreciate your quick response. I thought I had already responded, but it didn't seem to go thru. With your advice I found the egr valve I needed from Carquest. Yes I needed the entire valve. I tried the salvage yards and they didn't have one for my car, but also said they didn't like to sell just the part because it took away from the sale of the whole motor value. So that being said I thank you for you help.
