You must first remove the headlamp unit from the vehicle.

Remove the top retaining nut and the side retaining nut. Then pull the entire assembly forward, being careful not to break the side retaining clip. (This stays inplace after removing the nut. The unit will snap out of the retainer as you pull forward)

Then there's two separate procedures, depending if you have a hologen bulb or an HID bulb.

HALOGEN HEADLAMP
REMOVAL

Disconnect the lamp electrical connector.
Remove the rubber boots/seals protecting the lamp from the elements.
Twist lamp socket out of headlamp housing.

HIGH INTENSITY DISCHARGE (HID) HEADLAMPS (IF EQUIPPED)-LOW BEAM
HEADLAMP

Remove the rubber boots/seals protecting the lamp/igniter from the elements
Grab the igniter and twist counterclockwise approximately 1/4 turn. There is an arrow pointing which direction to turn. The igniter electrical connector will disengage when this happens, unlocking the igniter from the HID lamp.
Pull the igniter straight out of the headlamp unit.
Pull lamp straight out of igniter.

IGNITER

Remove the headlamp unit.
Remove the rubber boots/seals protecting the lamp/igniter from the elements.
Grab the igniter and twist counterclockwise approximately 1/4 turn. There is an arrow pointing which direction to turn. The igniter electrical connector will disengage when this happens, unlocking the igniter from the HID lamp.
Pull the igniter straight out of the headlamp unit.

BALLAST MODULE

Remove the headlamp unit.
Remove the three retaining screws.
Remove the ballast module from headlamp unit.
