Engine Mechanical problem
2004 Chrysler Pacifica 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 75000 miles

Hello,
I have a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica it started making a noise coming from the backside of the engine near the firewall (or there abouts). The noise sounds as if it is a exhauhast leak or louder more profoun as if it was a lawn mower when at a idle. When in park and depress acclereator @ 3500 rpm it starts to bog and almost bounce between 3000 & 3500 rpm never allowing to redline. My Question is Does this sound like a Catalytic converter issue?

BINGO cat plugged up. Need to find out what caused cat failure possible O2 or leaking injector. Has there been recent repairs?

Fed law says manufactures warranty emission control system for 10 yrs or 100K so yes your covered. Unless some malfunction caused cat failure.
