Hello,
I have a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica it started making a noise coming from the backside of the engine near the firewall (or there abouts). The noise sounds as if it is a exhauhast leak or louder more profoun as if it was a lawn mower when at a idle. When in park and depress acclereator @ 3500 rpm it starts to bog and almost bounce between 3000 & 3500 rpm never allowing to redline. My Question is Does this sound like a Catalytic converter issue?

Fed law says manufactures warranty emission control system for 10 yrs or 100K so yes your covered. Unless some malfunction caused cat failure.
