Rotten egg smell

1982 Dodge Rampage.I turned on my heater and my car filled up with this horrible smell of rotten eggs. I turned off all the vents but the smell was just as bad outside the car as it was inside! It just keeps getting worse the longer I am driving. Is it my catalytic converter? What do I do?

Try these ideas
yes it probably is your converter
try using high quality fuel additive / cleaner
check o2 sensor free check at auto zone
replace converter
or have it cut off till you get a new one
