1988 dodge diplomat- car was running fine but next day would not start. Cannot get spark from coil to plugs. Does anyone have an answer?
always thought these older models had a ballast resistor but cant locate one on this vehicle? Is there one or not and if there is where is it located? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I would try replacing the coil wire first-just remove on of the spark plug wires and try it in place of the coil to distributer wire (just to see if it fires first) then if that doesnt work check the regulator

Could be bad spark plug wire or even a bad coil it self.
