Interior problem 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 200000 miles

I lost the keys to my car a 1990 Chrysler new yorker 3.3 and removed the steering wheel cover around the ignition key lock and proceeded to press the key ignition key cylinder pin and it still won't pop out. I was told you have to insert the key and turn it, but I don't have the key, just the new cylinder with that key. What do I have to drill in order to make it pop out?

Note: I hot wired it by bridging the pink black wire with the blue wire to turn on the fuel pump and then touched the yellow wire to the pink black wire to crank it, but the car won't start does the switch have something to do with it?

Hello,

Here are some diagrams of the ignitions witch job being done (below). If you do not have the key you will need to break the ignition lock with a large chisel and hammer and then deal with the broken pieces there is no other way.

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers, Ken
