Dead Dash on my LHS

The other morning on my way to work a terrible smell entered the cabin of my car and all the sudden my dash went dead. The illumination, all the gauges, and my tail-lights, all dead. The car is a 2001 LHS with 113,000 miles. This is the first significant problem I've had with the car. Please help.

It's a 20 amp fuseable link in your under-hood fuse box.

I had the same problem, except, what caused it was my bad wiring on a stereo that kept shorting that one out. Fixed the bad wiring, replaced the fuseable link, wa-lah. Problem fixed.

It's about 3 bucks at autozone or any other store like that.
